Through harnessing the power of neural networks the IDASO team have built a software system for automatically identifying, classifying and tracking vehicles from CCTV footage.
After the successful launch of Global Team and Idaso has now further developed the application to cater to the needs of consulting engineers. We spoke to over twenty engineers on the topic of traffic data collection and the pain points they experience. This feedback has formed the roadmap for Global Team Plus (GTP) which is now in beta testing with a closed group of customers. Gobal Team Plus Video
A great example of how user feedback has helped unform the development of GTP is.........
We are delighted to announce that our latest software solution has entered Beta testing. Global Team is a crowdsourced labour force provider that enables traffic data collection professionals access hundredths of enumerators around the world who have been trained in using Idaso's "Smarter Counting eNumerate" software. This product offers a host of additional features such as cloud storage of data and video files as well as dynamic vehicle flow maps.
It was an honour to be asked to speak at the ITS Conference this year and share a little of Idaso's plans to help create Free Flowing Data for Free Flowing Cities.
SmarterCounting is a computer aided counting software. It enables the enumerator to use a games controller to count and classify traffic by direction. Enumerate automatically writes the data to an excel sheet and creates a vehicle flow diagram with junction location map in word. The net result is that there is no more pausing to write down tally counter readings, type data or create location maps.
Idaso featured as one of Ireland’s newest startup leaders
".........Given Denis Duggan of Enterprise Ireland’s midlands office assured TheJournal.ie that Kerr’s niche is so unique his product is going to end up global, it sounds interesting enough to us.
Another recipient of the competitive start fund, Kerr’s idea is an automated means of extracting data from CCTV for infrastructure projects, a job that is currently both essential to construction around the world, and also highly manual.
Also used for the likes of traffic accident assessments, the automated service is cloud-based and could reduce a time-consuming human process .......... to next to nothing overnight. One can see why it’s in demand."
We are delighted to launch our website to tell the world about some of our exciting new services.
